Last weekend was AMAZING. I already shared (almost) all the details about Toronto – I have been saving the best for last so stay tuned for Monday! But I haven’t told you anything about being able to stop by the town we will be moving to next. I have been wanting to visit since we found out and every time we have planned a trip it has gotten cancelled for one reason or another. On the way back from Toronto we were determined to make it happen.

These pictures are all from a beach on Lake Erie that will be 10-20 minutes from the place we move next and I am literally over the moon. I have basically lived by the ocean my entire life up until the last few years and words can’t describe how much I miss it. Now I can pretend that I live near the ocean again in just a few months… May please come quick!

I knew I wanted to take advantage of this beach and take some photos, and it was a Sunday as well so I wanted to dress up for church. I am always nervous about traveling in something a little more dressy, but this outfit from She Traveled was super comfortable for the drive. The material is soft, flowy and high quality. I could wear it all day long every day! What’s better than looking good and being comfortable at the same time? The top is definitely a new staple in my wardrobe since it goes with anything. It is great for a formal look, but also can go casual like how I wore it in this post and I have no doubt this skirt will last me years to come.

I could not believe how insane the wind was on the beach that day, even five feet away from each other Kris and I couldn’t hear each others voices. I was VERY grateful that I was wearing a longer skirt that came below my knee or the wind would have definitely helped me give the other beach goers a show. Usually while I am posing for pics I ask Kris to give me tips so I don’t look like a complete idiot, but we literally could not hear each other at all so I was left to figure it out myself. A few times Kris communicated by copying my somewhat awkward pose and then shaking his head to say no… LOL. I am sure the other people on the beach enjoyed that – I know I did.

Well without further ado I should let you all in on a little secret – She Traveled has offered ALL of my readers free shipping, use the code rachaelfreeship at checkout.
