This is an iPhone photo journal of our trip to New York this Christmas season, I thought it would be easier and more interesting than writing all about it!
Our church is representing well at Times Square!St. Patricks Cathedral… SO stunning. It was insane navigating the Rockefeller Center, especially with a stroller. It was such a cool experience though. I am not exaggerating at all when I say we were literally packed should to shoulder with hundreds of people. The most beautiful Christmas decorations and displays literally everywhere. The visit to the 911 memorial museum was very sombre. I am really glad we got a chance to visit. Zoey asleep at Brookfield Place Mall. Such an extravagant mall with delicious food and hot chocolate! We ate at Dos Toros Taqueria and then I got hot chocolate as well. I think this was one of the coldest experiences of my life… But so cool to check it off my bucket list. We had CityPASS so we got to see all the really cool sights for about 50% off what it would have cost for regular admission to each place. SO worth it! We love watching Shark Tank so we had to stop at Bantam Bagels! It lived mostly up to our expectations, I wish they had a tiny bit more filling in them though… Or were just a tad cheaper, they seemed expensive for how small they were. My favorite was the bagel bite with the pepperoni on top! Ummmm… Is gay ice cream different then regular ice cream? We saw this place and had to take a picture, we planned on coming back for ice cream later, but didn’t end up making it… From the top of the Empire State Building (tickets also from our CityPASS booklet). We have done a lot of these tall buildings in different cities, but never at night. I would definitely recommend going at night. The lights were perfection. We had to go through Times Square almost anytime we walked anywhere so we got to see it quite a lot and I loved it every time! So many interesting people and things to see. Giant lego hulk in the Times Square Toys R Us. I think since the last two times I visited New York I was auditioning for The Voice I was a little too stressed to completely enjoy it, this time we just went for fun though and I really realized in a whole new way how cool this city is! I want to live there for a year or two before our family gets bigger…
