10 Reasons to Stay at Encore Resort

We LOVE Encore Resort, which is why we made it our vacation destination for the second year in a row last month. Last year when we stayed I shared my ultimate Orlando vacation planning guide, and it has been one of my most popular posts to date. This year I wanted to expand on that post to share even more reasons why we love Encore Resort.

10 Reasons to Stay at Encore Resort

1. The Private Pools!

Every single home comes complete with its own private pool. This is the number one seller for me by far. To be able to step right outside into our own private pool at any point in the day, without having to pack the kids up and make an outing of it, is AMAZING! In fact staying here is one of the main reasons Kris and I are convinced our dream home will not be complete without a pool. Every pool comes equipped with an alarmed security system as well, so you don’t have to worry about kids escaping outside without your knowledge. This gives me a lot of peace of mind while we are vacationing.

2. The Water Park

A close second to the private pools is the water park! When you stay at Encore Resort at Reunion you have access to an amazing water park. They have a splash pad, slides, cabana rentals, poolside food service, pools, etc. The slides range in size for the little people, up to the most adventurous in your family. There is even one slide where you stand on a transparent floor and it does a count down before the floor disappears from under your feet and you plunge downward at top speed. They also have slides with tubes! You can order food from the restaurant right to the poolside. It is the perfect place to spend a vacation day.

3. The Homes

Encore Resort at Reunion homes are luxury standards. Their homes have 6+ bedrooms and bathrooms typically, and the interior design on each is unique and stylish. While the layout was the same in both houses we stayed at, the decor was unique and equally beautiful in each home. This home away from home will make you want to move to Encore permanently, which is actually an option available, and something we have seriously considered.

4. Kids Club

The resort offers a Kids Club service. You can drop your kids off with professional caregivers who provide quality care and fun, while you and your significant other enjoy a fun date!

5. Private Spa

Along with the private pool, each home offers a private spa! Depending on the weather, you can choose to have the spa heated or not. Last time we visited we had it heated the entire time and enjoyed soaking in the hot water every evening once the kids were in bed. This time we didn’t need it, but the kids still played in the spa like it was a kiddy pool.

6. Private Chef Experience

This is something completely unique to Encore Resort! At Encore you can order the private chef experience, which means a chef will come to your home and prepare a meal for you. You can watch and interact with them, or play in the pool while they do the hard work of cooking for you. They will set the table, serve you and make the experience delicious and memorable.

7. Catering & Restaurant Delivery

On the topic of food, you can order catering or anything off their restaurant menu, directly to your home! We did this often. Going out to eat with kids can be a bit of a headache because they get impatient and loud and messy… But having restaurant service right to your door is perfect! We ate our meals poolside often when we ordered this way. Their catering was very impressive as well. We had the pizza party and loved it. We couldn’t finish all the food, they brought so much.

8. Restaurant & Bar

Encore Resort has a full service restaurant and bar. The food and service is high quality and we enjoyed eating there a couple times during our stay. They took special care of our kids with coloring supplies, juice and kids menus, which always makes the experience at a restaurant so much better in my books!

9. Location!

Encore Resort is located conveniently close to all the Disney World parks. They even have a super convenient shuttle service that will bring you to and from the Disney parks and other popular tourist spots around Orlando.

10. Superior Quality Service

We have been to Orlando many times now, and stayed in many hotels. Encore Resort offers superior quality living standards and service. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They did make a mistake with our check in time, which they profusely apologized for and gave us a large gift basket as a token of apology. They also had a manager come check in with us to make sure we were settled in ok and personally apologize for the inconvenience. This wasn’t necessary, but really appreciated as I thought it showed an extra level of care and concern for us during our stay.

If you aren’t convinced that Encore Resort is the number one place to stay during your next trip to Orlando, I don’t know what will convince you! We absolutely love staying here, and cannot wait to go back again next year.
