I woke up at about 7:30 this morning, and as soon as I got the kids up and dressed started to clean. I’ve been wanting to do a deep clean and I decided today was the day. I have a cleaning system where I start in one corner of a room, or one part of the house, and work my way through. I don’t pick up things I run into while I put stuff away from the initial area, or move onto another area till I am done that. So with the layout of our house that put me starting in the master bathroom. I worked my way through the master bath, bedroom, and then my office, the two kids bedrooms and the kids bathroom.
Want to guess how long that all took me??? Remember, DEEP cleaning. Organizing cupboards, washing windows, laundry and stuff.
EIGHT HOURS. Eight hours and I didn’t even make it downstairs. While I did, after dinner. I continued the deep clean till now, 11:57pm. My feet hurt actually from being on my feet all day.
Part of my cleaning was hanging pictures that are in closets, that I have been meaning to hang. Including this mirror, and this poster. Kris gave me this poster for Christmas as a joke, and I LOOOOVE it. I love Dwight, I love working hard. It was a perfect fit. Especially to put up on a day where I literally worked from the moment I woke up, till I am pretty sure my eyes are closing right now….
ALSO, I did a Target pickup order of a few things I needed today and happened across these freeze dried beets, I didn’t even connect the dots with the poster and the beets till I saw them together when I was unpacking the supplies I got in my office…. THE OFFICE! I love beets, which is why I wanted to try them, but can’t imagine what they would taste like freeze dried.
I am going to bed, will keep you guys posted on the freeze dried beets though.
Oh PS, do you guys like my onesie? Found it in the child section at Target lol.
