1.19.21 – I Made It One Year!

I couldn’t choose between two images from my camera roll today, so I’ll share both. This blurry selfie is to commemorate ONE YEAR riding Peloton, working out at least once a week, although I averaged 2 times a week for the entire year (and a lot more if you count my daily meditation, strength training, running and yoga).

I’m just really proud of myself because I’ve never worked out consistently for more than 6 weeks in my life. I also thought I would hate the Peloton when Kris ordered it 🤪. I was just a little wrong.

This second picture is our fun, spontaneous evening activity. I felt like getting out of the house and discovered The Crood’s: A New Age was playing in an hour, so I told the kids (minus Violet) I had a surprise and brought them to see it. We had the whole entire theater to ourselves! I guess Tuesday night in the middle of a pandemic isn’t prime movie time??? We had so much fun. The kids laughed the entire movie – and even danced at times.

Half way through the movie Zander got tired and told me movie theaters were a little long for him, and he was just a little tired. Then he told me his chair was scary now and cuddle on my lap the rest the movie. We’ve been home about half hour and he’s already fast asleep for the night.

It was a good day.
