Maternity Family Photos

Today marks 33 weeks pregnant. I am officially almost done! With my other two pregnancies I got a lot of bump photos throughout, but I never took professional family maternity photos. I feel pretty confident that I will have one more pregnancy after this… But nothing is guaranteed, and so I wanted to get some nice photos done just in case this is our last. And also it is just nice to remember this time in a more beautiful way than it feels haha.

I did a post with tips for taking better maternity photos here, sharing some of these pictures. But I wanted to share a more personal post with all the photos we got and a little update on pregnancy at 33 weeks.

What 33 Weeks Pregnant Looks Like For Me

1. Still nauseas mornings and nights, but I only throw up if I skip my Zofran at night, or don’t drink enough water during the day.

2. Baby name is picked! I even have some customized artwork on its way that solidifies the choice!

3. Sleeping is rough. Every time I roll over it feels like a baseball bat to my crotch. Sorry if that is TMI, there is no pretty way to describe the symptoms of a baby’s head pressing into your pelvis.

4. She moves constantly, especially when I am trying to sleep. She gets the hiccups at least twice a day.

5. Zander still has no clue that I am pregnant. At least I hope he doesn’t, because every time I tell him there is a baby in my tummy it makes him angry. He closes his eyes, says, “uh uh! and shakes his head while slowly backing away. Uh oh.

6. I didn’t want to buy any more clothes, but was forced to because 90% of my dresses no longer cover me decently… Pants are still out from the nausea. I did find one pair of maternity leggings that I love and that has been a joy! They were $99 though, so rather than getting 5 more pairs I opted for some cheaper, longer dresses.

7. Vivid dreams are back. I always have extra vivid dreams at the beginning of pregnancy. They feel like memories in the morning. They are always dramatic. People dying and such. Going to sleep is getting really exciting these days.

8. I still don’t have my hospital bag packed, or my bassinet set up, or my closets all organized and my walls and toilets scrubbed. I am fighting the urge to do that all in one day every day. The anxious feeling to get it all done NOW is getting stronger and stronger. NESTING.

9. I have been making up for lost time at the beginning of this pregnancy and eating a ton. I still have to avoid lots of foods (most meat, greasy food, too much sugar), but it is so great to be able to enjoy a good meal.

10. In the weight department I have about 8lbs to go before I reach where I was when I gave birth to Zoey. Zander was bigger than Zoey when he was born, but I gained less weight. This may end up being my biggest baby bump yet! She is already measuring a week ahead of schedule.
